他在研究「工作」這個領域當領導者已經超過三十年，是National Career Development Project的前主管。在麻省理工學院主修化工，也以優異的成績拿到哈佛物理學士學位；不僅如此，他還擁有紐約市神學院的碩士學位。著有《Job-Hunting for the So-Called Handicapped or People Who Have Disabilities》、《How To Find Your Mission In Life》、《The Three Boxes of Life and How to Get Out of Them: An Introduction to Life-Work Planning》、《Job-Hunting On The Internet 》、《Career Counselor's Handbook 》、《Mapping Your Career》…等書。
